İlhan Bey’s land is a Chandler walnut orchard established on a 25-decare area. The landowner wanted to make his operations more efficient by remotely controlling the 3 valves, 2 pumps, 1 fertilizer mixer, 1 fertilizer pump, and pool level management in his orchard. At this point, we stepped in and offered a smart irrigation and automatic irrigation solution specific to the customer's needs with the esular system.

  • Difficulty of Manual Control: Due to the long distance between where İlhan Bey lives and his land, he had to allocate extra days and hours to perform irrigation.

This situation decreased the operational efficiency of the farm and increased costs. However, the farm owner left these problems behind by switching to smart irrigation systems.

How Did We Solve the Problem?

  1. Remotely Controlled Smart Valve System: The existing 3 valves were integrated into esular‘s smart irrigation system, which can be remotely controlled and automatically managed. In this way, the opening and closing of the valves became easily and automatically manageable over the internet.

  2. Pump Station Integration: The pump station was reconfigured to work compatibly with the esular system. Thus, water pumps could be monitored and controlled remotely and managed automatically.

  3. Fertilizer Mixer and Fertilizer Pump Control: The fertilizer mixer and fertilizer pump were controlled remotely with esular, providing the opportunity to mix and apply fertilizer whenever desired.

  4. Pressure Control and remote monitoring: After starting the stream and pool pumps, it provided the opportunity to protect the pumps by monitoring the pressure in the system and making minimum-maximum pressure settings.

  5. Pool Level Monitoring: By installing a pool level sensor, automatic pool filling was achieved remotely day and night.

  6. Central Management Software: A software infrastructure was established that allows all systems to be managed through a single platform. Thanks to this software, İlhan Bey can plan irrigation and fertilization programs, monitor the status of valves in real-time, and set automatic irrigation programs.

  7. Mobile Access Opportunity: With esular’s mobile application, farm management can be carried out from anywhere and at any time via mobile phone or tablet. In this way, access to the smart irrigation system became possible at any moment.

  8. Automation and Timing: The system was programmed to perform irrigation and fertilization automatically according to the determined schedule and plant needs. This minimized human error while ensuring optimum water use with automatic irrigation.
