Fruit Growing Research Institute “Our large 600-decare land, along with 52 valves, 4 pump stations, and 1 pool, has been integrated into the esular smart irrigation system. Our system includes 49 pulse-output water meters, 1 pool level sensor, 6 soil moisture sensors, and 1 pressure sensor. In this way, our land has been digitalized, providing the opportunity for remote monitoring, control, and management. We can now perform our irrigation operations more efficiently and precisely.”

Problems Before esular:

The Fruit Growing Research Institute aimed to switch to smart and automatic irrigation systems to solve these problems that reduced operational efficiency and increased costs.

How Did We Solve the Problem?

  1. Remote Controlled Smart Valve System: The existing 52 valves and 4 pump stations were integrated into esular‘s remote-controlled and automatically manageable smart irrigation system. Thus, the opening and closing of the valves became easily and automatically manageable through our application.

  2. Inefficient Irrigation and Energy: By installing remote-controlled water meters, wells were ensured to operate more efficiently. In this way, monthly water consumption became monitored and calculated via the mobile application. Monthly water and electricity costs decreased.

  3. Central Management Software: A software infrastructure was established that allows all systems to be managed through a single platform. Thanks to this software, our producer can plan irrigation and fertilization schedules, monitor the status of valves in real-time, and set automatic irrigation programs.

  4. Mobile Access Opportunity: esular‘s mobile application made farm management possible from anywhere and at any time via mobile phone or tablet. This way, access to the smart irrigation system became possible at any moment.

  5. Automation and Timing: The system was programmed to perform irrigation and fertilization automatically according to the specified schedule and plant needs. This minimized human error while ensuring optimum water use with automatic irrigation.
