HOW TO MAKE TITLE DEED AND PARCEL INQUIRY?
With the MEGSİS system developed by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre; technical data regarding real estate located in cadastre directorates are matched with title deed information and presented to citizens who need this information through map services at international standards. It has the feature of being an application prepared for the purpose of sharing with institutions, organizations, and municipalities, and the cadastral data collected within this scope are also presented through the e-Government portal as a map service together with title deed information for the purpose of informing citizens. These services have the distinction of being the first and only geographical service offered at the address www.turkiye.gov.tr.
Procedures to be Performed for Inquiry
Direct parcel inquiry can be made by entering province, district, neighborhood/village, block, and parcel information via the “parcel inquiry” link at www. tkgm.gov.tr. As a result of entering the information, the overlapping image of the parcel with the satellite photo is reflected on the screen. The parcel inquiry screen is an application open to everyone and allows citizens to have information about the parcel from where they sit at home by showing the location of the parcel visually. Thus, before purchasing the parcel, citizens can have the necessary information about the parcel by seeing the location, title deed area, quality, and sheet information of the parcel. At the same time, citizens can access all kinds of information regarding the parcel they own via e-Government. This information is also shared with relevant public institutions and organizations by making protocols to be used in applications that contribute to the national economy such as planning, infrastructure services, urban transformation, and the farmer registration system.
