Field Irrigation Systems
Field irrigation systems are constantly developing and diversifying for the most effective irrigation of agricultural lands. The most commonly used methods are sprinkler irrigation with sprinkler guns, drip irrigation and irrigation with drip irrigation systems, and surface (flood) irrigation systems, which is an older method.
In addition, the subsurface drip irrigation method, which makes the drip irrigation system more practical and especially eliminates problems in soil tillage, has also begun to be preferred.
In addition to all these irrigation methods, irrigation decision-making and operation have also begun to change. Automatic irrigation solutions, remote irrigation systems, and smart irrigation systems combine with agricultural irrigation equipment to allow much more efficient and functional irrigation.
Now let's take a look at these irrigation techniques and their usage areas.

Surface Irrigation Methods
The surface irrigation method has been a preferred method since the early years of agricultural history. It is the method with the easiest application among field irrigation systems. It is economical because it can be done without the need for any equipment. However, due to the use of more water than necessary, it is inefficient in terms of water and harms the function of the soil.
Generally known and most used surface irrigation techniques
Flood irrigation method: It is done by letting the water spread randomly from the canal located at the head of the field. Water is allowed to spread into the field by utilizing the slope. We can say it is the method with the lowest efficiency. It is very difficult to ensure that water spreads equally to every area according to the direction of water movement and the structure of the field. Although it is inefficient, it is preferred because the need for labor and equipment is low.
Furrow irrigation method: The irrigation process is carried out through furrows opened along the sloping field.
Sprinkler Irrigation Method
The sprinkler irrigation method involves delivering pressurized irrigation water from a pump or closed network to sprinkler guns and sprinkling the water onto the soil surface. Pressurized water is transported to the gun via pipes, and the irrigation process is carried out by the gun.
For the system to work healthily, the water must be pressurized. If a closed system pressurized irrigation facility is not available, the water must be pressurized using a pump. It is a suitable method for rugged terrains.
Mini-sprinkler Method
It is similar to the sprinkler irrigation system but is performed by dividing the land into many parts with smaller sprinkler guns. It is a suitable method for garden irrigation and irrigation of lawn areas. Like drip irrigation, it is done by laying small pipes within the irrigation area up to the sprinkler gun. As in the sprinkler irrigation system, the water must be pressurized.
These are suitable methods for garden, lawn area irrigation, and under-leaf irrigation in orchards.
Drip Irrigation Method
The drip irrigation method, which is among the field irrigation systems, is one of the activities that most affects the cost factor in the irrigation of agricultural and landscape areas today. Depending on the size of the area to be irrigated and the nature of the plants in the area that need water, many different irrigation methods can be used. Drip irrigation is the method where the least water is consumed while the highest efficiency is obtained. This irrigation method, developed for agricultural purposes, is now used effectively in almost every field. Since manual irrigation is laborious and costly in very large forested areas in our cities, the drip irrigation method is used. In agricultural areas, it is almost an agricultural standard. It is widely used together with spray irrigation systems.
It is very easy to use automatic irrigation solutions in drip irrigation systems. It is possible for you to perform more efficient irrigation with remote, wireless irrigation systems. As esular, we make your drip irrigation systems remotely controllable. With our wireless battery-powered valve control system, we enable you to perform automatic irrigation in your drip irrigation areas without additional energy.
Subsurface Drip Irrigation Method
Subsurface drip irrigation systems are made by pulling the pipes of the classic drip irrigation system 20-40 cm under the soil. It is especially preferred in orchards for soil tillage and to prevent pipes from being affected by sun and environmental factors.
Subsurface drip irrigation systems are very suitable systems for orchards and perennial plants.
Drip irrigation systems are useful irrigation systems in terms of both plant yield and economical use of water. It is also suitable for remote irrigation, automatic irrigation, and smart irrigation solutions.
Automatic Irrigation Systems
An automatic irrigation system is the realization of the irrigation area by automatic control devices without human control. Automatic irrigation provides both more effective and precise irrigation opportunities for field irrigation systems and eliminates the need for workers in irrigation. Another benefit of automatic irrigation is that it ensures you perform enough irrigation for your green area or plant. In this way, it both saves money and your green areas always stay green.
You can command your automatic irrigation systems over the internet with technologies such as GSM, Wi-Fi, and RF. Especially in drip irrigation systems, instead of going to the field frequently to turn on and control the water at certain intervals, you can control it remotely with remote control systems.
You can examine the remote control system we developed as esular from the link below.
Smart Irrigation Systems
Smart irrigation systems are solutions that have started to become widespread with the use of developing high technology in agricultural areas and that allow irrigation to be carried out more predictably and effectively. Smart irrigation systems are not just automatic irrigation solutions. They are complex irrigation solutions that also involve different sensor data, meteorological conditions, product type, and soil structure.

Esular Smart Automatic Irrigation System Application Areas
In places where water resources are scarce, we reduce your costs with drip irrigation automation. Thanks to wireless controllable hydraulic valves, equal water distribution is provided to every point of the field and all are controlled from a single point.
We make irrigation management fully automatic in modern greenhouses to keep greenhouse production at the desired level, improve product quality, and keep the pH balance under control.
We enable you to use and manage the world's most valuable resource in the most efficient way in all your agricultural lands without the need for cabling and an external power source. You can either determine your irrigation scenario or perform fully automatic irrigation.
We provide more efficient and effective irrigation by making valves smart in landscape irrigation. With remotely controllable valves and remotely updated scenarios, all control is in your hands.
Homogeneous irrigation is ensured by controlling flow and pressure values in golf and football fields. All valves and pumps can be controlled remotely without pulling cables.
Smart Cities
In smart city applications, we ensure that irrigation zones are irrigated on time and as desired with sensors that can work wirelessly and with internal batteries lasting over 10+ years. An end to sprinklers that irrigate when it rains.
